Invoice Generator Built for Freelancers

You don't need accounting software to send great invoices. Fill in a clean form, see a print-perfect preview, download a PDF — done. Use it for hourly, retainer or project work in any currency.

The pain you're trying to escape

  • Word and Excel templates that look amateur and break easily
  • SaaS billing tools that charge $15/mo for sending 5 invoices
  • Re-typing the same client and bank details every time
  • Clients delaying payments because the invoice is unclear

How freelancers use this tool

1. Save your business once

Fill out the From section once — it stays in your browser. Next time you open the tool, it remembers your name, address, email, tax ID and bank details.

2. Generate per-project invoices

Hit "Reset" between projects. Add line items by hour, by deliverable, or as a single fixed-fee row.

3. Lock in payment terms

Set "Net 14" or "Net 30" in the Due date and add late-fee terms (e.g. "1.5% per month after due date") in the Notes section to protect cash flow.

4. Send, follow up, get paid

Email the PDF. If your invoice goes 7+ days unpaid, resend with a polite "Reminder — invoice INV-2026-001" subject line.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register a business to invoice clients?
Not in most countries — sole traders / sole proprietors can invoice under their own legal name. Check your local tax authority for the exact threshold.
How do I number my invoices?
Use a sequential format like INV-2026-001, INV-2026-002. Include the year so you can reset the counter every January.
Should I charge tax?
Only if you are tax-registered (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) in your country. Most freelancers below the registration threshold do not charge tax — leave the Tax % field at 0.
